Got this computer in, It had(s) viruses I am a strong believer in AVG and Superantispyware as the combo of both has done the trick for many viruses i have run across. Well i ran them both on this compaq persario SR171QNX and it found quite a few and removed them, Good the computer starting running faster and showed sign of improvemnet. Now my problem was with the internet and updates (i have updated viruses def's for both avg and superantispyware on my usb drive as of oct 24th2010) , attempted to run windows updates and it can not see the internet. It is running ie as i have that on my usb to. Clicked update on superanti spyware jsut to see if it was connected and it said a firewall was blocking it. Avg couldnt find ther internet eaither. Okay well boot up in safe mode run both scans agian, (finding nothing but tracking cookies and not alot at that) restart normally and the windows update shield poped up YAY, However it never gose past 0% and still WILL NOT see the internet. yes the ethernet drivers are updated and it see's and connects to the network this computer(the one im posting on not the one with problem) is connected to same network internet works fine on it. Anyways im at a lost i downloaded hijack this and heres the log:
