I believe you. I know we didn't do anything to remove. Just thought you might have come across this before...maybe a suggestion. that is all.

Hmm not sure I didn't see anything referring to those being removed you could try to do a search on the computer for files that were in the folders.

working on the cd next, doing a search right now. I was wondering on the system restore. since we didn't do anything with this, that I remember, would it hurt to use system restore?

edit: system restore looks like it only goes back to november 11th. so no good on that point.

the folder has been found I think. looks like it was moved to a different location and the hidden feature added. I was only told it was lost and that person didn't actually look for it.

edit: user is unsure. will let you know.

having hard time trying to make a cd to help with the scan. files were skipped in the process of scanning with the scanner you suggested. scan completed. files still won't update.

If files were skipped then it needs to be done again because it replaces corrupted or missing files.

In making the cd mentioned on the other site, I found out that I need to get a better burner program(the one they mentioned in the writeup)
