I've ran Ad-ware, Spybot, and Panda Anti virus on the computer with the latest update to clean up the system. The system has just upgraded to XP Professional. After the upgrade i've got the error message Generic Host for Win32 Services and i couldn't connect to AOL. Then i uninstall and reinstall AOL and i've got connected to the internet. For some reason, after i returned the computer to my friend, she can't connect to the internet. She told me that it won't let her connect to the internet if she has the phone line go directly from the wall into her computer as it did before; However, if it goes the thru the telephone and then into the computer then it works. Can somebody please tell me why?
