I'm having difficulty playing some avi and divx vids with Media Player 9 (im runnin win2k pro) so tried to dl and install the ms codec pack.

I keep getting this error when i try to install it.

'Entry point not found
The proceedure entry point GetUserGeoID could not be loacted in the dll kernal32.dll'

Any ideas guys?

usually means you have an out of date dll, but that likely will not help any way since the ms codec pack is limited

try some of these
