Hello, i was going to by an external HDD and was wondering if This 120GB HDD or if This 250GB HDD goes into Stand by/sleep mode?

Never bought an external HDD before, both the ones listed are from the same company. I have searched and cant find anything stating if it does or doesnt. Any input is appreciated.
