puppy linux font on webpages

On web pages when i scroll up and down the font cuts and clips and blurs and gets torn apart. when i scroll back up and down it fixes itself but then another part gets messed up. id take a screenschot but im new to linux and dont know how. Does anyone know what could be causing this. im very new to puppy. just got it yesterday.

I only use Puppy for file recovery, but it sounds like a video driver issue.

ahh i installed it onto a thumb drive so it can be used as a mobile operating system. (much of my family has terribly slow messed up computers)

Thanks for getting back to me so fast :D . Ill look into the drivers

Once you get the correct video driver figured out you can save the config to your thumbdrive. Also makes for much faster booting.

just a note on this, if you save the vid driver then its only for one range of vid cards,

eg - an ati driver will not work with an nvidia card,

so it will only be good for certain systems, unless you plan on changing the driver each time you boot puppy
