I installed adobe reader 7.0 . I use win xp pro sp2. Adobe works fine and begin update 7.01. Worked fine. I reboot the computer and Adobe Reader opens, loaded logo, and when begin load the plugins, stop with error "Acrord32.exe error in mod: msvcr71.dll". After reading some adobe foruns, I cleaned all acro*.tmp and did chkdsk to my hardisk. Never more worked. I unistall all about adobe reader from disk, clean the Registry and some directories it created on hardisk. I downloaded a new msvcr71.dll from dll-files-com and copyed it to my sistem32 directory. Reboot pc, and reinstall adobe reader 7.0. Dont work. Any help?

Try starting acrobat while holding the shift key down. This will turn off plugins and help to see if one is corrupt.
