how to ether iphone to linux mint?

I'm using Linux Mint 10 (i beleive its codenamed julia). Does anyone know how to iphone tether to the Operating System?

By tether i mean share my phones internet connection to my computer.

This works without any configuration or hassle on my windows machine. Wondering how to do it for my linux computer.
