It did it for the first time 2 days ago, and then within half an hour this morning it did it twice. By crashing, I mean it doing this:

I took the picture with my phone hence it not being so clear.

I haven't been running any high memory usage programs, when it did it most recently, all I had open was Firefox with 1 tab which was on some other forum which I visit daily and has no risk of passing on viruses and stuff.

I don't really know what to ask, is it a registry problem? Do I need to do some scans?
I'm having to run windows in Safe Mode (with networking) right now to keep it stable.

I'd be willing to bet that most laptop crashes are caused by overheating, and recommend you try cleaning before anything else. The reason it works is that over time, dust, skin and so on build up inside your laptops fan, vents, and in particular, the CPU heatsink. Just make sure you get the right sort of spray, avoiding freeze sprays, or anything that leaves a deposit. And good luck!
