Well basically, i've had ALOT of issues with my computer recently, first of all, i got a BSOD and ended up having to do a reformat, thinking that would be the end of my troubles. However, some weeks later, explorer.exe has vanished.

First, my display kept changing on it's own (my windows theme changed, and the one i had also gone). Then, after a reboot, all the desktop icons and the taskbar had gone. The only way i've managed to get on here is by using the task manager. Also, i cannot find explorer.exe by using taskmanager and can't find it in the windows folder.

I cannot access my eset antivirus to do a scan, and so did a f-secure online scan, initially it found 30+ infections, and the last one i did it found 5. But, whenever i click clean, it stays cleaning for HOURS (left for over 24) and it has still not finished. Also, after a while, i get win32 generic host errors or something popping up.

I know this has probably been sorted before, and i did only sign up to get this answered, but i do plan on staying around, need a decent forum to spend time on anyway. Any help apreciated.
