hey guys,

yesterday i was browsing the internet and clicked a particular link. a dialog box popped up claiming that there was some sort of error and i was caught off guard and pressed the ok button. next thing i know the BSOD pops up, but my computer restarted so fast I couldn't get a good look at what it was. While loading, my computer had become noticeably slower. After logging on I ended up with a virus which installed the shortcut HDD tools and error messages popped up claming my hard disk and memory were dysfunctional.

I was using avast antivirus and in the middle of the scan the BSOD reappeared and the following error showed up:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Technical Info:
STOP: 0x0000000A (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFF800038A32B3)

I have gone onto safe mode and used malware anti-bytes and avast anti-virus, which have detected several infected files and deleted them. I managed to succesfully log on to the system and wanted to restart and see if it will work as usual and still the BSOD pops up.

Any help on this will be much appreciated.

Thanks
