is revouninstaller for windows 7 better than eraser?

Eraser allows you to securely "shred" files you don't want anyone to be able to restore, as well as erasing all free space on a drive to shred any deleted data that hasn't yet been over-written. So Eraser is essentially a secure file shredder, nothing else.

Revo Uninstaller, on the otherhand, can do all that Eraser does and much more besides, it's core purpose being to uninstall applications more thoroughly than the apps own uninstaller, or when a program has only partially uninstalled.

Whether Revo is the better of the two depends on whether you would actually need it's extra features.
For what it does however, Eraser takes some beating.
