I can't log into my router admin page. Also having wireless connection issues.

I know the address is 192.158.1.1 - but it doesn't work. When I try ipconfig /all the following results come up:

C:\Users\user>ipconfig /all

Is my PC somehow configured wrongly to enable me to login to local IP addresses?

Also the wireless has become very erratic - 3 PC's and an iPhone are having difficulty maintaining a wireless connection. I can only connect via cable. I know the router isn't faulty as I couldn't replicate the problem at the store where I bought the router. They have loaned my another router (same make/model) and I'm having the same problem.

It's almost as if something external is affecting the ability to connect wirelessly - and to login to the router when connected via cable.

Help please!

You're obviously not on a private network because those are public IP addresses. Are you plugged directly into your modem? You'll need to be plugged into the back of the router if you want to access the administration page.

Mmm.. I thought that also. Checked the documentation and it infers that LAN port 4 is for telephony applications. Perhaps this is the reason why. Will check it out and let you know. Thanks for your input :D
