Well recently i just repaired my Windows Xp Pro because my computer became unstable. I thought all my old files would be erased like my music and pictures, but when I did a virus scan on my computer it actually recognized the files, and my pie chart on C drive still has the same "used space" shaded in before I repaired Windows. But to my dismay i searched through Windows and couldnt find the files, I was wondering if there is any possible way to recover these files?

Thank you

Do you show more than 1 hardware profile in your system properties?

Could be you have just set-up a second configuration instead of just reinstalled windows.
