Hello. I've been racking my brain, trying to network a second pc. I have just about given up. I've got the main one(this one), running through the router, and installed pci adapter in other, but it's not recoginizing the adapter hardware. What do I do? Thanks~ Tonia :tazz:

No more purple bold fonts, please

List the hardware (adapter model, computer model, router model), operating system on the non-working machine

On the non working machine, check device manager--any yellow !s? Did you follow the instructions on the adpater install? They vary--some require driver first, then hardware, some require hardware first, then driver.

Hi, thanks. It's the netgear wg311 v2 adapter on the compaq 6000. I also have the netgear router wgr614, both at 54mbps. I checked the device mgr, and not listed, nor yellow error. Factory setup nework is only one listed. I'm going to try to contact their support line, I suppose. Thanks.
