my pc has been acting up its always freezing when im on the web, and just recently there was this prompt that came up and i meant to deny it ever since my computer shutsdown and when i tried to start it up.. it said run windows repair but it wouldnt run. it had a blue screen saying stop error. so i managed to to start it again using windows normaly... my microsoft windows solution keeps poping p saying host proccess for windows services has stopped working and was closed.. pls help

What service pack do you have install SP2 or SP3

Go to START / CONTROL PANEL / PERFORMANCE AND MAINTENANCE / SYSTEM on the tab GENERAL you will see your system info and it will tell you which service pack you have installed.

I am not familiar enough with Vista to help you, I thought the problem was with XP since you are in the XP forum section.

Hopefully someone else might be able to better help you.

you are in the right forum just not in the right section this one is for problems with Windows XP, 2000, 2003 & NT, you need to go to the one for Vista and windows 7
