I have a virus that gives big warning messages urging the purchase of a System Tool 2011 Purchase.

I've ran spybot & malware software AND Mcafee, they all work in safe mode, but cannot work in regular mode.

Has anyone else had this issue? Please help......Thanks, N

Please visit our "Virus, Spyware & Malware Removal" forum and follow the "Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide" instructions. This will guide you through a few preparations, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log in that forum.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from one of our malware experts, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).

Spyware is right and just to add most of these types are what I consider Frightware
They scare you into purchasing the product only to remove what they themselves have put in your system.
Follow Spywares instructions and the Malware Techs will get you all cleaned up.
Good luck and and let us know how everything turns out. :D

Hi,

Please follow the steps
Please follow the steps below;
1. Isolate the machine from your production network.
2. Please scan your computer with Spyware Scan. It will detect and remove virus, spyware and adware from your PC. Click here to download Download Spyware Scan
3. As your system is now virus free, you need to clean your registry with bad entries created by System Tool infection. For that you can download and install Windows Repair Registry Tool. It will repair all the bas entries in your registry.
For more information to remove System Tool, visit this page: http://www.removesystemtool.net/
Good Luck.
