Web cam wont work

Hi - I've plugged in webcam and it says this device is working properly but when I try to open the program Look312p it says "No video camera was detected on your system". Please help.

Look in Device Manager for any error symbols which mean there's a driver problem. Either the wrong driver has been installed or a driver hasn't been installed at all. Did you install the driver from the CD or floppy-disk supplied with the webcam? The driver must be compatible with Windows Vista, XP drivers do not work on Vista.
