RECYCLER.exe trojan problem

I now cannot find the RECYCLER folder on my PC and laptop(through Search and free anti malware and virus scans- could it be hiding though?)and am having no more odd site re-directions but it is there on my two USB sticks and my SD card.

As I don't want to re-connect them to the computers can I then have no choice but to destroy them as there is no way to 'clean' them?

Advice appreciated.
