I recently reinstalled windows xp and when I try to download something of the Internet ie google chrome, iTunes the computer can't load the web page for the download. All other web pages run fine and it is not a security issue I have turned all security off. Any help would be appreciated.

Turning all security off is NOT a good idea. Your computer may now be infected.

Please visit our "Virus, Spyware & Malware Removal" forum and follow the "Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide" instructions. This will guide you through a few preparations, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log in that forum.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from one of our malware experts, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).

I am using Internet explorer I'm not sure which version though. I was previously on ie8 but search bar was corrupt and had the same problem above so I went back to the default ie. When my security was off I only went to the adobe website and google chrome website and even before I turned it off it had the problem
