Specifically, my question refers to the Firefox browser, but I believe it will apply to any browser Xmarks is installed on. I upgraded to the latest version of Xmarks (v3.9.5 for Firefox users) and noticed a link under the settings/sync tab that said "Important Information About Password Sync."

It brought me to the following page: http://wiki.foxmarks...nager_Migration

This says, in a nutshell, that Lastpass (who recently purchased Xmarks), will soon be phasing out the password sync feature of Xmarks. I can't find any mention, however, as to whether this warning applies to everyone (meaning the capability will be taken out of the addon software itself) or if it applies only to those who sync said passwords to Xmarks' servers (meaning only Xmarks' password syncing servers will be shut down and anyone who syncs to their own server is still free to use the addon for this purpose).

I would appreciate it if anyone knew and could share this with me.

thank you,
mike.
