Ghost menu on Desktop

Evening Guys

I am looking for some help

Recently I have been having a lot of problems with Google Chrome Crashing and leaving ghost menu's on my desktop, I have attached a pic of this

The only way I can get rid of it/item it to restart my pc.

Anyone help with this

Instead of rebooting, try right-clicking the desktop (but not on an icon, of course) then choose "Refresh".

thanks for that, right clicking itself actually gets rid of it, when I click refresh, the word'refresh' actually becomes a ghost image itself

Is there a reason this happens, is it something to worry about

I'd try using Windows' "System Restore" to roll Windows back to a previous state when the computer was functioning correctly:
