So, i'm doin' some overclocking, and the only result i can see in games, is that it crashes after ~30 seconds. "Well, maybe you shouldn't be overclocking that CPU", you might say, and that's just the problem. When doing stability tests (100% load, 15 minutes) i get nothing. The problem occurs when playing games, the game just gives me a jittery screen with random colours and then restarts. It does sound like my graphics card, being a flashed 6950 and all, but why do i only get it when i OC?

Stability/benchmarking tests don't - can't test for every scenario. They test theoretical limits and we all know that theory and real-world rarely jive.
