My grandson is home schooled and has to get a partner for one of his assignments. when he clicked on the assignment it popped up in a new window with a download/install window wanting to download a program sas.elluminate.com with a meeting.jnlp file. How safe is this program? I Googled but found nothing bad but that doesn't mean it doesn't cause problems. any info would be great.

I have been to sas.elluminate.com website and I found a secure connection so I think it should be fine but I cannot gurantee it. If its a website provided by the school then go ahead and install it.
