Remote Desktop Connection used to work fine.
I have not used it in over a year but
my new job requires me to access my
office machine from home.

The problem is that when I try to open RDP,
I get this error message:

The system cannot find the file specified.
C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386\<LANG_NAME>\lhmstsc.exe.MUI

When I target the file it is indeed present, however
clicking on it just pops up the same error window.

I have downloaded and installed WindowsXP-KB969084-x86-enu
but it did not make any difference.

I tried "PERFORM ADDITIONAL TASKS\SET UP REMOTE DESKTOP CONNECTION"
The InstallShield Wizard gave me this error:

Remote Desktop Connection cannot be installed because your operating system already has a built in version.
See More Programs\Accessories\communications\Remote Desktop Connections on your start menu.

I also downloaded client version 6.0?? which just told me it would not
install because I already have a newer version on my machine.

After days of research I hope you can help me...can't seem to find
a solution anywhere.

Thank You
