I have a delema. I have thirty pages of text images on PDF that need to be transcribed. Let me back it up... I have copied/scanned a text document into a PDF format and now need to transribe the info. Is there a software program out there that can help me?

Slight contradiction here. You say they're text images and text documents. If it's plain text you should be able to copy and paste.
Do you not have the original files?

Someone just sent me an email that quoted this: "Open Microsoft Document Imaging... Open your .tif file... Click on the icon that looks like a piece of paper and a blue W... This will attempt to "read" the text. You MUST proof-read very carefully... The worse the .jpg, the worse the conversion will be. 1's look like I's, O's... like 0's, And those are the easy ones to spot."

Can Microsoft Document Imaging do this?

You need OCR software.
