I have a Toshiba Satellite A105 S2236 and I bought the recommended ram upgrade of 2gigs 2cards 1gig apiece but when I install them my screen will not come on ever thing else work but not the screen and what is real funny is that if i take out one of the 1gig and put back in the 512m that came with it it comes on fine need help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds to me like you grabbed the right amount, but perhaps the model/type of RAM you purchased wasn't compatible with your computer.

Sounds to me like you grabbed the right amount, but perhaps the model/type of RAM you purchased wasn't compatible with your computer.
