Running Windows 7. RF keyboard, Microsoft mouse. Both will work but they are sporadic. I have given up on the mouse and went wired. The keyboard will just stop or repeat a letter typed several times. I reset and it will work ok for a time. I have moved to other USB ports, same problem. I do have a wireless router on another computer (laptop) a few feet away, this PC and another PC are wired but wired into the same router. I bet you can tell, I'M No Geek, LOL
Thank You

Wireless keyboards and mice are in no way related to a router as that's for networking & internet-access only.
The keyboard & mouse work through their own, separate wireless device which plugs into a usb port.
The Microsoft wireless kit you currently have may be faulty.
