Really do want to thank you for all your help in all matters.
Will keep you posted if anything else develops.

For some reason it seems to be fine now.

I deleted PC TUNEUP,REVO and the VIRUS VAULT.
Also deleted the Quarantine items in SAS and MAM.

If I have any problems I'll go to (GEEKSTOGO-cleaning guide as you suggested.

I would run a chkdsk and a system file checker.
Everest for examination of the computer from a hardware aspect is OK

chkdsk - right click the hard drive. click properties, click tools, click error checking, click check now, click to check the box file system errors, click start and agree to run on restart.
Pls do ot interrupt it a three stage check.
Then on reboot go Control Panel administrative tools, event viewer, application on left pane and find the first winlogon from the top. Double click it the chkdsk results.
Any file errors, except minor inconsistencies.

Do that first pls and I wil then give you the SFC instructions.

I did that and if I did it right it said:
Cleaning up minor inconsistencies on the drive.

Went into everest and its now discontinued:
FinalWire AIDA64 replaces Everest.
Not sure what it is.

So have you looked at the results to check that is all.
If it is there is no concerns,
I wanted to check after your running of that unwanted program

After you have checked pls go
Start, run and type
"sfc /scannow"
without quotes.
If it asks for the CD insert it.
If it displays Retry - try it.
If it repeats press ignore.
If you have to do this - ie ignore we will have to slighlty alter another registry key as there are system files that cannot be found on the CD most likely SP2 or SP3 updates etc, so we will point the registry key to the C drive instead of the CD and all will be well.

I looked at the results but not sure what I was looking at.
I tried to copy the results to send to you but wouldn't let me.
I also wanted you to check.

I Can't seem to do that,every time I type in sfc /scannow,
all that comes up is a black screen but for only a second than dissapears.

My virus scanner came on and I checked the vault,it read;
WARNING Corrupted Executable File c:/Documents and Settings..................
