XP takes over 7 Minutes to load at Startup

I have a MESH running XP Pro. It is about six years old and has given great performance. It has one gig of ram

Yesterday I didn't think it was starting up. It stays on the greeting screen for a few minutes, Then you get the Windows XP greeting screen for a few seconds, normal, and then about five to six minutes of black screen. After that the login screen comes up and when I sign on, everything loads like normal and seems to work fine. but it's taking six to seven minutes longer than usual.



I've run virus and malware scans.

I did a system restore to three days earlier

I ran chkdsk (No errors) and defragged the hard drive, which it needed.

I used CCCleaner to clean the hard drive and registry

I ran a memory test disc and came up with zero errors.

I took out all but essential programs from the startup group.

Nothing has changed. The computer seems to run OK, except for the extra six minutes to boot.
