I have tried to from the webthe software/drivers for my Sony camera and my Lexmark printer on to my new computer with Windows 7.No success at all with the printer (although I managed this successfully with the old computer.With the camera SPUI have found the downloaded application SPUDownload and the icon , but when I run it nothing happens.

Pls supply the edition of windows7 ie: ultimate etc and 32 or 64 bit
the make and model of the camera
and the same for the printer together with its actual edition
Do these items come with a CD that includes drivers for 7.

Hi thanks very much for responding.Windows 7 home premium 32 bit.Sony cybershot W270 camera.Lexmark X7350 all-in-one printer. Yes, the required software/drivers came on disc, but these have been mislaid. In both cases I located the necessary downloads on the respective Lexmark and Sony websites . In the printers case the download did not succeed.With the camera I downloaded the SPUDownload application and the icon, but when I click run on these nothing happens. It may be my unfamiliarity with Windows 7.

Disable your anti-virus
and follow the advise here.

Please when you reply clarify if the camera when connected is seen, as a camera or simply an unrecognised usb device.
If it is NOT seen , even as an unrecognised device, change the communiction mode in the camera. Try usb mass storage or
Print/PTP.
