What make and model Dell?
Do you have recovery disks for it?
Are you trying to get the system back to factory settings?

OK please go HERE and enter your Dell Service Tag number. Then it will tell you the exact Make and Model along with the original programs, drivers and OS that was originally installed.
The Service Tag number will be located On the back or on the side panel.

Let me know what OS it says there and then we can see which OS you can remove from your system and hopefully free up some room.
If you want to completely erase the drive we can check to see if there is a hidden recovery partition that will do that for you.
If not then the sticker on the side should have a reg key on it and we will have to know the exact version of XP to fix everything.
