My laptop computer has some kind of spyware infection. I keep getting warnings from a MS Removal Tool application that wants to run a scan then force me to buy some software to fix the infection. Seems shady. Unfortunately the MS Removal Tool is blocking me from running any of my spyware or malware programs. Can someone please help me fix this problem?

Operating system is Windows XP

Warnings I am getting are:
"Warning, application cannot be executed. The file tfswctrl.exe is infected please activate software"
and
"Warning windows has detected spyware infection"
