Hey everyone,

I bought an ASUS K60IJ T4400 <<-- Name) about a year ago, and I messed up the battery doing whatever I did to it. I need a new one but I'm not sure where/what to get. I don't want to buy the wrong one. I use Ubuntu right now and it always turns on and says "43% remaining, your battery is either old or broken."

Any links/directions to where to get a NEW replacement would be great

Thanks

It is pretty hard to mess up a battery. The newer ones do not hold memory like the older ones.

Does the Asus still have a warranty? You could try that option first.

90% sure it is. I'll take mine out later tonight and check the details. I'm pretty sure it's 11.1 V 4400 mAh or something

If it is a new computer/laptop it would have a manufacturers warranty. Usually 1 year.
