I was downloading the update for world of warcraft wrath of the lich king, and in the middle of the download, my laptop crashed, and now windows wont start, i keep running the windows repair tool, and i made it as far as login, but after that the screen stays blank, what should i do? please help

Do a system restore to before the problem started.

I would imagine these things are very helpful, but to me they arnt, I cant even make it that far to make the settings and start that process

Did you click F8 or F5 key to get into safe mode?

Type the F8 key. Try to tapping on it when the computer booting up. You should be able to enter the safe mode.
