Hello,

I am experiencing problems with my 2004 Toshiba laptop (taking over 15 minutes to boot up, internet browsers not responding) that I am quite certain are related to Malware/Spyware, but the anti-virus scans that I have been routinely performing are not detecting any problems. In the past week I have run numerous scans with Symantec, Malwarebytes', AG, and AdAware, and the scans are coming up "clean", despite the problems I'm experiencing. I have had some issues with this laptop for about a year now (although not to this extent), and a few months ago Symantec quarantined TrojanFakeAV!, 6bba7172-6563c278, and 1b44cd2-77b7cb01. I wonder whether it is these infections that are still affecting my computer, or others that have not been detected. For a while now a yellow pop-up box has been appearing saying that Symatec has been disabled, but when I check Symantec, it is enabled. More recently, and at the same time my computer problems have worsened, an error message has been appearing stating that there is a problem running a script, and asking whether to continue or stop it (seems to be related to google chrome). Any help you can offer would be much appreciated. As you'll see from the OTL file, my computer is quite a mess. Thank you.
