Hi, I have an HP pavilion ze4300 notebook that comes with a 64mb Radeon IGP 340M video card made by ATI Technology, Inc. I've been trying to update the driver on it but haven't been able to. I've been to the hp support page and the ATI page and have downloaded the appropriate update drivers (both the same). Yet, when i tryed to install them, the one from ATI said it didn't detect the right card and stopped, while the hp support file installed yet for some reason nothing's changed. Can anyone help me?

Generally, ATI do not have an option for notebook drivers

ATI Mobile Graphics products in notebooks
Display drivers and multimedia applications for notebooks with ATI graphics solutions are available for download from your Notebook manufacturer.

The display driver supplied with a given notebook has been customized for:

the built-in flat panel display
any other graphics or video options installed in that specific computer.
As a result of these customizations, ATI Customer Care is unable to offer drivers for notebooks.

We recommend that you:
use the driver supplied with your notebook computer, or,
obtain a driver update from the manufacturer of your notebook computer.

You could try the automatic install option

You could try a previous version

I managed to get the reference "Catalyst" Drivers installed on my HP ZT3000 with ATI 9200, now I can actually play Half Life 2, in widescreen even!

I used a tool to modify the install docs, and can't find a reference to it atm (I'm at work). But have a look at this thread: http://www.extended6.../PrintPost.aspx
It might give you a hint.
