hello guys and gals, ive recently been teaching myself html code and on the videos i have watched it shows input of images as <img src="something"> and when i attempt to input a picture from my computer it wont register when tested i just get a box with a red box in it instead of a picture. most of the pictures are jpeg images also if it helps with answering i am using notepadd ++.

The image path must be correct and when viewing the html file locally in your browser, the html file and image file must have the correct relationship as the src path shows. Use relative paths for all and be sure images are uploaded correctly along with the html files.

hey yea thanks i figured it out a little while before you posted, it was pretty simple lol but thanks for posting your help. im sure i'll have more questions to come
