Phillips GoGear Mp3 player ruined by Rhapsody

Perhaps there is someone who can help me unlock the music files on my Phillips GoGear Mp3 player??? I received the player as a gift and it came with a free 1 month subscription to Rhapsody. I even paid for an additional 2 months and spent countless hours downloading all kinds of music to my Mp3 player. I never had any indication from anyone that I would not be able to access this music once I stopped paying these goons. Now it is as if my Mp3 player is useless because not only can I not play any opf the music which I had gotten from Rhapsody- I cannot even play any of my own music that I downloaded directly from CD's using my computer. So even though I paid these [bleep] nearly $30. my $100.+ Mp3 player has not been used in over a year now. There must be a way to unlock those music files without deleting everything? Or am I going to have to erase everything and start from scratch???

Thanks for you help
