USB Issues

My USB ports have never recognized my IPhone in the two months I've had my Toshiba Satellite L675. I've tried them all, tried disabling them and reenabling them, reinstalling them, but to no avail. They appear to short out because when watching it's status I see it pop up Iphone for like 5 seconds, and flash off right away. What can I do or is this just a computer issue that comes from something else?

If you've only had it two months, send it back for a replacement.
