Hello,
I'm not to familiar with computer lingo or the computer itself. 2 days ago my desktop computer was unable to connect to the internet. I set up my wireless wizard so that my daughter could use her netbook and also installed mcafee on my desktop and my daughters netbook. Everything seemed ok then I came back to check on my daughters netbook and saw that my desktop had a blue dump screen. I turned off my computer and restarted it, then I received a message saying that windows found a problem with a program...it said dep found a program called generic host process win32 system (something like that) and windows was closing the program.
After this I was not able to get onto the internet. Is it something I did when connecting my daughters netbook to the wireless? I can acess the internet through her netbook, just not through my desktop. Please help..I don't know what to do and don't know enough about computers to understand what everything is.
Thank you for your help
