On my computer every so often the Volume Icon on my lower right hand task bar disappear. When I go to the control panel to check the Sounds and Audio Devices, the Device volume box is faded out and so are the mute and place volume icon in the task bar. What can I do to stop this from reoccurring? Is this some sort of virus?
