This is my first post...The error signature is: svchost.exe szApp Ver: 0.0.0.0. sz Mod Name: Unknown szModVer: 0.0.0.0. offset 00000000
When I click on details I get: C:\DOCUME~1\HPAUTH~\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER 5fa5.dir00\svchost.exe.mdmp
and, C:\DOCUME~1\HPAUTH~\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER 5fa5.dir00\appcompat.txt

I am running XP Pro with Service Pack 2, 1.2 Atlon with 500 MB Ram

When I restart the error usually does not show.

Does this have anything to do with Dr. Watson?

Appreciate greatly any help,

don

Austin,

Thanks...in the meantime, should I choose debug and wait for the fix? Is there a hot fix from Microsoft available now?

Thanks

You could go to M$ and search the knowledge base. Give it a try and see what you find.
