First of all, hello everyone, I'm new to this incredible website with great information and I don't know how to thank you all.

I have a problem, about 2 hours ago I got this fake antivirus malware. For an hour it did not even let me see a single file in my computer or open anything up. I had to turn off my computer and reboot it to get it repaired since I could not run it in Safe Mode. After having some windows repair done I was able to open the following programs which I've been trying to remove the virus with (Malwarebytes, SuperAnti Spyware, and Microsoft Security Essentials). A lot of my files (folders) were deleted from my desktop, they are not shown at all so I don't know whats the deal with that.

I also keep on getting a runtime error R6025 and I have absolutely no clue how fix it. I'm guessing this has something to do with firefox because everytime I try to open Firefox it takes forever.

My last problem is that the Catalyst control center is not working either, I have no idea what this is and I don't know if it's important or not.

Guys, I'm very lost here and i would appreciate anyones help. Thank you for your time.
