Hi Im a newbie here so bare with me..

I am on my computer because my hubbys isnt working..he has contacted the dreaded WIN 7 TOTAL SECURITY and cant get on the internet with his computer..so thats where my question comes from ..I was looking over some of the other WIN 7 problems and to remove it, it said to download a certain program to your desktop. well it wont let him even get on the internet so I was wondering how he can fix it..

PLEASE HELP..Thank you so much..Peggy

Hi,

You can download the file on another PC and then transfer the file to the infected PC with a USB flash drive if needed.

Download OTL to your Desktop
  • Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
  • Check the box that says Scan All Users.
  • Click the Quick Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
  • When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
  • Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) the contents of these files, one at a time and post them in your topic.
