Unable to connect to some sites

Am running Windows 7 on my laptop and I am unable to connect to certain web sites. I get the error message 'internet connection timed out'.
Also, when trying to download and run some things, for example Spybot, I am unable to do so and get the message 'a connection with the server could not be established'.
I am using a wireless connection and have tried the usual things like turning off the firewall etc, but it's driving me mad as it's only a few sites that I can't access.
Would be very grateful for any suggestions - thank you.

I have run a Hijack this and attach the log incase it shows anything.
