I just bought a Toshiba Satellite L655-S5157 with Windows 7 to replace a desktop that is about to die.

I want to be able to print on my HP LaserJet 1012.

I have the installation disk...but it won't install.

This printer is about 4 years old....is that the reason???? Because we did not have Windows 7 on the old computer??

I am very sorry to say this but I just went to their website and the printer is not supported on Windows 7. Please see this link

However what you can try is to install the Windows XP driver and it may work however I cannot promise this. Windows XP drivers can be found here

You could also try the Vista drivers at the same link wizzy2k5 provided.
