CAN I LOAD XP ON MY DESKTOP FROM AN ORIGINAL COPY OF XP SO IT IS LIKE A PC THAT YOU BUY WITH A PRE INSTALLED COPY OF XP SO I CAN FORMAT WITHOUT THE DISK AS I HAVE GOT A LAPTOP THAT IS SETUP LIKE THIS AND IT JUST SEEMS SO MUCH EASIER

Hi stewartwalters

I think you are looking for a Program called Norton Ghost, this allows you to install and OS and apps, take a image of your harddrive partition and burn that to a disk. If you ever need to restore your cp, you can reimage from the cd.
