My computer freezes whenever i open any multimedia. when i play a song on itunes, itunes freezes. When i open up youtube, whatever internet browser i have freezes. (i have tried explorer, opera, firefox, and chrome.) I have unistalled and reinstalled my shockwave adobe and java players. i have done full malware scans, used advanced system care and ccleaner. Everything comes up clean. I have macafee security center which reports nothing. My sister has the same computer and has the same problem. It does not happen all the time. I can go through months of happy use and then all of a sudden for a week nothing will work. This problem is making me pull my hair out. Thanks for any suggestions. I also called dell to get help and they said since i dont have insurance its gonna cos $300 for their help. Which is money i dont have. the laptop is about 1 year old and has done this for about 8 months. i have a windows 7 64 bit operating system with 3 gb of ram and a dual core processor. it is a dell studio 1555.
