On my current monitor, in order to switch from DVI input to VGA and Vice Versa...you need to scroll through menu options via the monitors menu up down buttons, a bit annoying when i am switching frequently.

My question is...Can you switch inputs through some sort of software instead of doing it manually every time?

Monitor is an Asus VE205

Probably not because the input source is controlled by the monitor not the computer.

Actually it can be controlled by software too, but I've only heard of one program that can do it. It's called mControl from entechtaiwan.com.
